16 Luglio 2026

(Adnkronos) – “Although the implementation of the memorandum of understanding” between the US and Iran, from last June, “is encountering difficulties, Pakistan will continue to encourage all parties to end the violence and resume technical-level talks.” This was stated to journalists in Islamabad by the spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Tahir Andrabi, as reported by satellite TV al-Jazeera.

Amidst the escalation, Pakistan continues to focus on its role as a mediator and has been trying for days to bring Tehran and Washington back to the negotiating table.
