(Adnkronos) – One hundred and eighty deputies of the Majlis (Iranian parliament), out of a total of 290, have signed a declaration demanding revenge for the Iranian “martyrs” and the “cessation of all forms of understanding or negotiation with the United States”.
In the text, reported by the Lebanese broadcaster Al Mayadeen, which is close to Iran, the parliamentarians invite the Majlis presidency to “immediately establish a special commission with the task of reviewing all negotiations and agreements initiated so far with Washington and verifying the application of the directives expressed by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei”.
The deputies also reported that parliament has included on the agenda “the enactment of legislative measures that include the strengthening of the defense doctrine and the ratification of the law on the management of the Strait of Hormuz”.
