(Adnkronos) – The intensification of Ukrainian attacks against Russia will only “prolong” the war. This is how the Kremlin responded to the words of American President Donald Trump, who had said that the attacks could push Moscow to negotiate an end to hostilities. “The more the Kyiv regime strikes our infrastructure, the more we will have to extend the security zone” on the front, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. “A new escalation would be able to prolong the special military operation,” he added, referring to the offensive conducted by Russia in Ukraine since February 2022.
