(Adnkronos) – The plane carrying the coffin of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has landed in the holy city of Mashhad, ahead of his burial. The official Irna news agency showed images of the Mahan Air flight taxiing at the airport after landing in Khamenei’s hometown. The coffin was transferred from Iraq, where ceremonies were held in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala with the participation of millions of people.
