(Adnkronos) – A driver working for a logistics company partner of World Central Kitchen (Wck) was killed by the Israeli army while transporting supplies. Al Jazeera reports this, citing the charity organization, which stated in a press release that “Ahmad Nasser Saleem was delivering food to needy Palestinians. Humanitarian aid deliveries should never be a target.”
Wck stated that it is in contact with the driver’s family and has expressed its condolences, adding that it expects a full account from Israel regarding the deadly attack. World Central Kitchen is a US-based non-profit organization that provides meals during humanitarian crises and has been one of the main organizations distributing food in the war-torn Gaza Strip.
