(Adnkronos) – Israel carried out 11,074 attacks in the West Bank in the first six months of 2026. This was stated by the Commission for Resistance to the Wall and Settlements, commenting that the strong escalation reflects Israel’s campaign to expand settlements and force Palestinians to abandon their communities. According to the Palestinian Authority body, Israeli attacks focused on the Hebron Governorate, which recorded 2,224 attacks, followed by Ramallah and el-Bireh with 2,175, Nablus with 2,095, and Bethlehem with 1,137. The Commission states that Israel has gone beyond occupation and is now engaged in annexation to impose permanent control over Palestinian land.
