Pakistan, bus falls into ravine, 40 dead

(Adnkronos) – A bus accident has caused at least 40 deaths in Pakistan, when the vehicle plunged into a ravine after going off the road in a mountainous region in the west of the country. “A bus connecting Quetta to Peshawar plunged into a deep ravine in the mountainous region of Dana Sar. There are 40 dead and 11 injured,” said Sanaullah Sherani, head of the emergency center for the Zhob district. The toll was confirmed by Balochistan authorities.
