Ukraine, the toll of the Russian attack on Kyiv worsens, 13 dead and 31 injured

(Adnkronos) – Thirteen people have died and over thirty have been injured in Moscow’s night attack on Kyiv. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported this, adding that rescue operations are underway in several areas, including a partially collapsed multi-story residential building. During the offensive, Russia launched dozens of cruise and ballistic missiles against Kyiv, in addition to carrying out mass drone attacks in various regions of the country. The attack destroyed residential buildings, damaged an emergency room, a hotel in the city center, and set fire to a multi-story building. By 7 AM local time, damage and destruction were reported in over 30 districts of the Kyiv area. “The enemy is once again targeting residential areas and killing civilians. We have witnessed very serious destruction and a significant number of casualties, including children,” declared Tymur Tkachenko, head of the military administration of the city of Kyiv.
