(Adnkronos) – The Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo has caused more than 400 deaths, with a case recently detected in Kisangani, a large city in the northeast of the country located almost 600 km from the epicenter of the crisis, according to the latest official report published on Thursday. In total, 438 deaths and 1,406 cases have been registered, according to the bulletin of the National Institute of Public Health. The epidemic, whose outbreak is located in Ituri province, was officially declared on May 15.
