(Adnkronos) – A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the southern coast of the Philippines, less than three weeks after another strong quake in the same area caused over 80 casualties. This was reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The tremor was recorded at 7:42 PM local time (11:42 AM Italian time), with an epicenter approximately 21 kilometers southwest of Sarangani city, on Mindanao island, and at a depth of 65.7 kilometers. No tsunami warnings have been issued at this time, and there are no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
