(Adnkronos) – The majority of Israelis believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should leave politics and not run again in new national elections. This is revealed by a Channel 12 poll, according to which 59% of respondents believe Netanyahu should not run again, while only 33% think he should and 8% declared themselves undecided.
Regarding leading the Likud after Netanyahu, 18% indicated Economy Minister Nir Barkat, 9% Justice Minister Yariv Levin, 7% Defense Minister Israel Katz, and 6% Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
