(Adnkronos) – An wave of Russian attacks hit Ukraine overnight, causing at least nine deaths, four in Kyiv and five in Kharkiv. Ukrainian authorities announced this. “Unfortunately, the death toll rises to four,” wrote Timour Tkatchenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, on Telegram, after initially reporting two victims. A few hours earlier, Interior Minister Igor Klymenko had reported that “five state emergency service rescuers (were) killed while fighting fires” in Kharkiv.
