Haiti, UN: “Gangs have killed at least 2,300 people this year”

(Adnkronos) – Gang violence has killed at least 2,300 people in Haiti this year, while almost 100 have been kidnapped. The United Nations announced this. “I urge the authorities to act quickly in the courts to address impunity,” said Volker Turk, UN human rights chief, in a global update to the Human Rights Council.
