France, ‘almost 900 arrests after Paris Saint-Germain victory’

(Adnkronos) – The French Interior Minister stated that almost 900 people were arrested in clashes that erupted after Paris Saint-Germain’s victory in the Champions League, which the Parisian team won for the second consecutive year last weekend. “We made over 890 arrests. In total, this is 45% more than last year,” said Interior Minister Laurent Nunez to broadcaster France Inter, adding that almost 180 law enforcement officers were injured.
