(Adnkronos) – There is still no unanimity among EU capitals regarding the request, also put forward by Italy, to sanction the Israeli National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, widely criticized for his conduct towards activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla. According to what has been learned, the decision, which requires the consent of all member countries, would be hindered by Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. The issue will be on the table during the informal Gymnich-format Foreign Affairs Council which begins today in Limassol.
