(Adnkronos) – Italy’s embassy has sent best wishes to Saudi Arabia’s Muslims for the three-day Eid al-Adha holiday or Feast of the Sacrifice, which follows the end of the annual Hajj pilgrimage period and which begins late on Tuesday.
“The Embassy of Italy in #Riyadh, together with its entire staff extends its warmest wishes for a blessed #EidAlAdha,” read a post on X on Tuesday.
Eid al-Adha is the second of the two main festivals in Islam alongside Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the month-long holy fasting month of Ramadan.
