Tokyo, May 22 (Jiji Press)–Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Friday invited Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to visit his country in 2027 in line with a NATO summit to be held in Tirana, the capital of the European country. No sitting Japanese prime minister has visited Albania. Meeting with the Albanian leader in Tokyo, Takaichi emphasized her intention to deepen Japan’s ties with Albania further, saying that the security of the Euro-Atlantic region and that of the Indo-Pacific region are inseparable.
