(Adnkronos) – The Russian armed forces have conducted training on the use of nuclear weapons that have reached “the highest levels of combat readiness.” This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram, explaining that nuclear ammunition was delivered to field depots located in the missile deployment areas of the armed forces. More than 64,000 people, 200 missile launchers, 140 aircraft, and 80 surface ships and submarines participated in the exercise, the ministry explained.
The note states that the exercise also focused on the “preparation and joint use of nuclear weapons deployed in the Republic of Belarus.”
