(Adnkronos) – US President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Taiwan regarding the alleged independence aspirations of the government led by Lai Ching-te and his Democratic Progressive Party. After the meeting with Xi Jinping, “nothing has changed” and “we don’t want someone to say: we declare independence because the United States supports us – he told Fox News – then we find ourselves having to travel 95,000 miles (about 15,000 kilometers) to go to war”.
