(Adnkronos) – China has declared itself ready to collaborate with the United States to pursue “greater stability” globally, in view of this week’s meeting between Xi Jinping and Donald Trump. “High-level diplomacy plays an irreplaceable strategic role in China-US relations,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun during a press conference.
“China is willing to cooperate with the United States in the spirit of equality, respect, and mutual benefit, to expand cooperation, manage differences, and inject greater stability and certainty into a volatile and interconnected world,” Guo added.
