(Adnkronos) – At least eight people have died and 40 were injured in a fire at a shopping center in Andisheh, about thirty kilometers from Tehran. This was reported by Iranian state television, specifying that the shopping center houses about 250 commercial establishments and about 50 offices.
Images released by Iranian media show several floors of the building on fire. The prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to ascertain the causes of the fire and issued an arrest warrant for the builder.
