Kazakhstan: Tokayev visits presidential stables and feeds horses

4 Maggio 2026

(Adnkronos) – Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the stables of the Department for Presidential Affairs, where he inspected the conditions of care for the horses that have been donated to him over the years, according to reports from the Qazinform news agency. A year ago, an Akhal-Teke mare was born in Astana. The Head of State named her Aqzhan. She is distinguished by her unique ‘isabella’ coat, a rare coloration that combines shades of white and pink.

The young mare’s beautiful dark green eyes stand out against this background. Aqzhan is very intelligent, a characteristic that experts of this breed constantly emphasize. According to a post on the official social media account, the President finds time to visit the stables and feed all the horses directly, including four Arabian racehorses recently gifted from Qatar. About six months ago, a bay filly joined the herd of Akhal-Teke horses. The Head of State named her Aqniyet. She also possesses all the necessary physical characteristics to proudly represent the country’s equestrian industry on the international stage. As previously reported by Qazinform, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his greetings to the Kazakhs on the occasion of the Day of National Unity.
