(Adnkronos) – Four migrants have been found dead near the Slovenian border and two other men have been hospitalized in serious condition. This was announced by the Croatian police, without providing further details on their nationalities or the circumstances of the four men’s deaths. Thirteen other people were found and taken to a detention center, the police specified. They explained that they had been exposed to “inhumane conditions during transport,” according to the law enforcement statement. A trafficker reportedly led them near the village of Donje Prilisce, 70 km southwest of Zagreb, before fleeing, and an investigation has been opened to determine the causes of death.
