(Adnkronos) – Former French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve has announced he is ”ready” to run in the presidential elections to be held in 2027. Interviewed by Le Figaro, Cazeneuve said ”I am ready to run” because ”if I can make a contribution, I will.” The former head of government under Francois Hollande and former Interior Minister, who left the Socialist Party in 2022, explained that he considers it “urgent” to “find a solution that prevents the Rassemblement National from leading the country” and “pulls France out of its difficulties.”
