(Adnkronos) – Foreign minister Antonio Tajani, Rome’s mayor Roberto Gualtieri and Gariwo Foundation president Gabriele Nissi were on Thursday set to unveil five new plaques honouring late foreign ministry staff for “exceptional courage and protection of others”, according to a statement.
The ‘Righteous of the Foreign Ministry’ plaques are located on the avenue leading to ministry’s main square which is called Righteous Avenue, the statement said.
The new plaques commemorate Francesco Babuscio Rizzo, Piero De Masi, Giorgio Giacomelli, Vito Positano and Tito Spoglia, the statement noted.
