(Adnkronos) – “The United States must stop its ‘ceasefire violation’ before any new round of negotiations.” So said the Iranian ambassador to the UN, Amir-Saeid Iravani, to the Iranian website Shargh. “As soon as they lift the (naval) blockade, the next round of negotiations will be held in Islamabad,” he stressed, stating that the Islamic Republic is “ready for any scenario.”
“We were not the ones to initiate military aggression – he urged in statements relaunched by satellite TV al-Jazeera – If they want a political solution, we are ready. If they want war, we are equally ready.”
