(Adnkronos) – An 80-centimeter high tsunami wave hit a port in northern Japan, after a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake shook the entire northern part of the Asian country. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported this.
The rogue wave, the Agency specified, was recorded in the port of Kuji, in Iwate prefecture, two minutes after an initial 70-centimeter wave and 41 minutes after the tremor.
