Media: Tehran and Washington considering 2-week ceasefire extension

(Adnkronos) – The United States and Iran are considering extending the ceasefire, which is set to expire next Tuesday, by two weeks to allow more time to negotiate a peace agreement. This has been reported by various international media outlets, including al-Arabiya, which cited a Bloomberg report. 

According to a person familiar with the matter cited by the news agency, mediators are working to initiate technical talks aimed at resolving the most delicate issues of the confrontation, including the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the issue of Iranian nuclear enrichment.
