(Adnkronos) – Current global challenges and historic ties were the main focus of talks at the foreign ministry in Rome on Wednesday between Italy’s foreign under-secretary Maria Tripodi and France’s new ambassador, Anne-Marie Descotes, Tripodi wrote on X.
“A pleasure to receive at @ItalyMFA the new Ambassador of France, H.E. Anne-Marie Descotes,” read the post.
“Excellent discussion on current international issues and our historic relations,” the post continued.
