Remove Donald Trump through the tools provided by the US Constitution. Former CIA director John Brennan, who headed Langley during the Obama presidency, also adds his voice to those in the United States calling for the invocation of the 25th Amendment to get rid of Trump who, he stresses, is not fit for the office of President. The amendment, he quips in an interview with MS Now, “was written precisely with Trump in mind.”
“He is a clearly unbalanced person,” Brennan declared, referring in particular to recent statements about the imminent destruction of the entire Iranian civilization, a clear threat of the use of nuclear weapons, as well as the danger he poses to so many human lives.
The 25th Amendment was introduced into the American constitution in 1967. It authorizes the vice president and a majority of the cabinet to remove the President on the grounds that “he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”
To date, more than 70 Democratic lawmakers have invoked the 25th Amendment, as well as former Trumpian congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Brennan is under investigation by the Justice Department, along with former FBI director James Comey, as part of the President’s revenge against those he perceives as his enemies.
