Tehran, ‘any ship attempting to cross Hormuz without permission will be destroyed’

(Adnkronos) – The Iranian navy has informed ships off the Strait of Hormuz that it is still necessary to obtain permission from Iran to cross it. The Wall Street Journal reports this, based on a recording shared by a crew member of one of the ships in the area. The recording states: “You must obtain permission from the Iranian navy to cross the strait. Any ship attempting to pass without permission will be destroyed”.
