Red Cross, over 300 dead and injured in Beirut in Israeli raids

(Adnkronos) – Israeli air attacks conducted today on Beirut and the southern suburb of Dahiyeh have caused over 300 dead and injured. This was reported by the head of the Lebanese Red Cross to Al Arabi, as stated by the Haaretz website. Many people are still trapped under the rubble, while hospitals in the area are under heavy pressure, he added. 

The Israeli attacks were directed against densely populated areas of Beirut and Dahiyeh, explained the head of the Lebanese Red Cross.
