(Adnkronos) – An American pilot was reportedly captured in Iran by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Pasdaran, after an F-35 was shot down. This was reported by the Tasnim news agency, while Axios had reported on the downed fighter jet and ongoing searches to locate and rescue the two crew members.
“Whoever captures the American pilot alive will receive a considerable reward,” state television had declared after the news of the fighter jet shot down with two American pilots on board.
Iranian state media have published images and videos that reportedly show parts of the crashed aircraft and one of the ejection seats.
