(Adnkronos) – Strategies to boost exports and bolster national economic security amid geopolitical and global market turbulence will be at the centre of the foreign ministry and the Bank of Italy’s annual conference in Rome on 2 April, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Foreign minister Antonio Tajani and Bank of Italy governor Fabio Panetta will open the conference entitled ‘A turbulent world: political crises, trade disputes and economic and financial shocks. What strategies for the development of exports and Italy’s economic security?’ said the statement.
The press can gain accreditation to cover Tajani and Panetta’s addresses to the conference, which will kick off at 9.30am and continue ‘behind closed doors’, the statement noted.
