25 Marzo 2026

(Adnkronos) – London Metropolitan Police have arrested two men, aged 45 and 47, in connection with the arson attack on four ambulances belonging to a Jewish community aid service, Hatzola Northwest, in north London, near the Machzike Hadath synagogue. Commander Helen Flanagan, head of London’s counter-terrorism unit, announced this, explaining that the two were arrested this morning on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and have been taken to a police station for questioning.

“We have worked tirelessly since the terrible attack occurred, and this has led to the arrests made this morning. This is an important breakthrough in the investigation, but we are also aware that CCTV footage of the incident suggests the involvement of at least three people,” Flanagan explained. “We know the local community is concerned, and our investigation is still ongoing. We will continue to work to identify and arrest all those who may be involved,” she added.
