(Adnkronos) – London police are investigating an online claim made by a little-known Islamist group regarding the fire set to several ambulances belonging to a Jewish volunteer organization in the north of the British capital. The claim was made with a video on Telegram by the pro-Iranian group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (Islamic Movement of the People of the Right Hand or the Righteous).
“Ascertaining the authenticity and accuracy of this claim is a priority for the investigative team,” investigative police chief superintendent Luke Williams told reporters, adding that the investigations are being conducted by counter-terrorism police. Although, he specified, it has not yet been established that it is a terrorist attack.
