This was announced today by a group of experts tasked with investigating network malfunctions.
Their report confirmed the inability of the Iberian electricity grid to control voltage peaks, while also emphasizing that this widespread blackout was not caused by a single factor, but by a combination of multiple associated factors, which led to the worst event of its kind in Europe in over 20 years.
