Emirates, 7 dead since start of war, 319 missiles and 1,627 drones intercepted

(Adnkronos) – Seven people have been killed in the United Arab Emirates since the beginning of retaliatory attacks conducted by Iran after the launch of the Israeli-American operation against its territory. The UAE Ministry of Defense stated that among the seven victims, two were members of the armed forces and five were civilians. The latter are foreign nationals from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and one Palestinian. Another 145 people were injured, with injuries of varying severity. The Ministry of Defense stated that among the injured are citizens of Sweden, Turkey, Nigeria, India, and Ghana. 

The Emirates then reported that, since the beginning of the war in Iran, Abu Dhabi’s air defenses have so far intercepted 304 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,627 drones.
