Iran: Beijing donates 200,000 dollars to families of students killed in Minab school

(Adnkronos) – China, which depends on Iranian oil, has announced the donation of 200,000 dollars to the families of the very young students of the school in the Iranian region of Minab killed in an American raid on the first day of the war, Saturday, February 28, which caused a total of 168 deaths. 

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing, Guo Jiakun, announced that the donation, managed by the Chinese Red Cross Society, will make the donation, in favor of the Red Crescent, for emergency humanitarian assistance and “for condolences and compensation” to the families. Guo described the raid as “a very serious violation of international humanitarian law.” “China is willing to continue providing Iran with the necessary assistance and in a humanitarian spirit to support Iranians during this difficult period,” he added.
