Tokyo, March 12 (Jiji Press)–A Jiji Press opinion poll for March on Thursday showed that 75.1 pct of respondents disapprove of the ongoing U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran. Meanwhile, 7.0 pct supported the attacks, and 17.8 pct did not take sides. Some experts say that the attacks violated international law. The Japanese government has not given a legal assessment, citing a lack of detailed information. Disapproval was prevalent among supporters of all political parties, reaching 69.9 pct for the Liberal Democratic Party, 71.4 pct for the Japan Innovation Party, 83.3 pct for the Centrist Reform Alliance and 75.0 pct for the Democratic Party for the People. Among the supporters of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s cabinet, 71.3 pct disapproved of the attacks.
