Govt backs Italy-China joint film production accord

(Adnkronos) – Italian and Chinese companies will be encouraged to team up on joint film projects under an accord that also aims to foster cultural exchange and grow the national film industry after the cabinet approved a bill ratifying and implementing the agreement signed last month. 

At foreign minister Antonio Tajani’s request, ministers on Wednesday backed the bill enacting the accord and annex on film co-production inked between Italy and China’s governments in Beijing on 2 February.
