(Adnkronos) – Over 667,000 people have been displaced by Israeli air raids in Lebanon to date, 100,000 more in the last 24 hours. This was announced today by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). While the country has been subjected to intense Israeli shelling since Monday, “over 667,000 people in Lebanon have registered as displaced on the government’s online platform, an increase of 100,000 in a single day,” UNHCR representative Karolina Lindholm Billing told reporters in Geneva.
