9 Marzo 2026

(Adnkronos) – The Lebanese Parliament has postponed the legislative elections, which were scheduled for May, by two years. This was announced in a statement by the Speaker of Parliament, explaining that the decision was made due to the new conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which began after the start of Israel and the US’s military operation against Iran. Lebanese deputies participated today in the Parliament session, including Mohammed Raad, the head of Hezbollah’s parliamentary wing, while Israeli fighter jets continued to fly over the southern districts of Beirut.
