(Adnkronos) – An incident that occurred over the weekend in New York, during an anti-Islam demonstration held near the residence of Mayor Zoran Mamdani, is at the center of an investigation into terrorism inspired by the Islamic State. During the protest, led by far-right influencer Jake Lang, an improvised explosive device was launched.
This was announced by New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch. “I can confirm this morning that the incident is being investigated as an act of ISIS-inspired terrorism,” she stated.
