(Adnkronos) – Italy’s foreign minister Antonio Tajani said Friday the seven-day-old war which the United States and Israel are waging on Iran will last “at least six weeks” – a forecast in line with that of US president Donald Trump, who has however warned that the conflict could “last longer” than his initial “four to five weeks” timeframe.
“It will not be a short war, I believe it will last at least six to seven weeks,” Tajani told Sky Tg24’s Start programme.
“The Iranian armed forces have the capacity to hold out for a few more days, but they will be difficult days,” Tajani added.
