(Adnkronos) – The international order broke down when Russia launched its full-scale military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Italy’s foreign minister told the Senate upper house of parliament on Thursday while reporting to lawmakers on the widening United States-Israel-Iran conflict.
“Everything has been taking place outside the rules of international law,” Tajani stated.
“One of the (five) members the United Nations Permanent Security Council, which should be a guarantor of international law, is a state that invaded another state, destroying these principles,” Tajani underlined.
