Ukraine, Kremlin: “Objectives not fully achieved, operation continues”

24 Febbraio 2026

(Adnkronos) – Russia has not yet achieved all its war objectives in Ukraine and will continue to fight until this happens. This was announced by the Kremlin, on the fourth anniversary of the start of its offensive in Ukraine. “The objectives have not yet been fully achieved, which is why the military operation continues,” said spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov, however, wanted to clarify that “many” of the Kremlin’s objectives in Ukraine have been achieved, and stated that Moscow’s “main goal” is to ensure “the security of the people” living in eastern Ukraine.
