Australia, PM moved from official residence for security reasons

(Adnkronos) – Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, had to leave his official residence in Canberra, The Lodge, for a few hours due to a “security incident”. The ABC reported this, specifying that the Prime Minister was transferred to another location for several hours while the Police were working at the official residence. The Australian Federal Police confirmed the intervention for a “presumed security incident”. “A thorough search was carried out – they announced – and nothing suspicious was found”. “There are no threats to the community or public safety”. A spokesperson for Albanese thanked the Police.
