(Adnkronos) – The United States has begun to withdraw from a base in Syria, in a region still under the control of Kurdish forces in the northeast of the country. A Kurdish source told Afp. A convoy of dozens of heavy trucks crossed the road connecting Hassaké province, where the Qasrak base is located, towards the Iraqi border. US forces had already withdrawn from two bases in the last two weeks, al-Tanf (southeast) and al-Chaddadi (northeast).
