(Adnkronos) – “China is intensifying efforts to unilaterally change the status quo by force or coercion in the East and South China Seas while expanding and intensifying its military activities in the areas around our country,” Japanese Premier Sanae Takaichi denounced in Parliament. “It is the government’s consistent policy to comprehensively advance a mutually beneficial relationship based on common strategic interests,” in order to build a “stable and constructive” relationship, she added. “Precisely because China is an important neighbor and there are various open issues and challenges, we will continue our communications and respond calmly and appropriately, following our national interests,” she specified.
